Objective

The Regional Sales Executive is tasked with managing a portfolio of designated clients within the assigned territory. This role involves executing the sales strategy to meet client needs and enhance Renishaw's market presence in the area. The individual will collaborate closely with the Technical Team throughout the sales cycle, including post-sale support, to thoroughly comprehend and address customer requirements through compelling economic and technical value propositions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meeting and exceeding sales objectives for the Industrial Metrology Division.
  • Expanding business through partnerships with channel distributors.
  • Consulting on process optimization and executing critical projects with clients to achieve sales and growth objectives.
  • Delivering engaging technical sales presentations to various organizational levels.
  • Identifying and leveraging new business prospects while offering commercial and technical solutions that resonate with customer needs.
  • Maintaining an organized pipeline of qualified inquiries in the CRM to ensure a robust flow of quoted business to surpass revenue goals.
  • Participating in sales meetings, trade shows, and industry events within the designated region.
  • Traveling to both potential and existing clients within the assigned sales territory to showcase company offerings and enhance brand visibility.
  • Utilizing a mix of outbound calls, email correspondence, and in-person meetings.
  • Building and nurturing long-term relationships with clients.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in solution-based sales with comprehensive knowledge of the sales process.
  • Background in engineering products within B2B sectors (preferably in industrial metrology, automation, aerospace, electronics, or similar fields).
  • Strong business acumen and project management capabilities.
  • Possession of a valid passport and driving license for frequent travel.
  • Proficient in IT tools (ERP and MS Office).
  • Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time for exhibitions and key accounts.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English; proficiency in French is a plus.
