Role Overview:
The Protocol Management Associate plays a crucial role in overseeing and executing processes related to Shareholder Relations and Governance. This position requires independent judgment and decision-making, ensuring compliance with established protocols and governance standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and implement comprehensive processes within the Protocol domain, ensuring uniformity and adherence to established standards across the organization.
  • Identify and resolve exceptions independently, utilizing past experiences and established precedents.
  • Coordinate and prepare for high-profile engagement events and official ceremonies, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and timelines.
  • Act as the primary liaison for communication with diplomatic missions and government entities of AIIB Members, facilitating high-level visits and ensuring expectations are met.
  • Provide expert protocol guidance to various departments, ensuring consistent application of protocol standards throughout the organization.
  • Collaborate with other teams during event preparation to define requirements, deliverables, and timelines, ensuring effective coordination and execution.
  • Organize and execute high-profile events and meetings, including the preparation of concept notes, official correspondence, briefing materials, and other essential documents.
  • Ensure the successful implementation of protocol arrangements for high-level meetings and ceremonial functions involving senior management.
  • Conduct evaluations of high-profile events and generate post-event reports that align with organizational standards and priorities.
  • Guide outsourced personnel in the effective execution of their responsibilities.

Qualifications:
  • A university degree in international relations, public administration, political science, or a related field is preferred.
  • Certification or training in protocol, diplomacy, or event management is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Protocol, high-level event management, executive office, or diplomatic missions.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities, adept at managing multiple tasks and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with robust analytical skills to critically assess processes and events.
  • Excellent cross-cultural communication and diplomatic skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to mentor and guide junior staff.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English.
