Job Title: Graduate Mental Health Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Mental Health Assistant to join our team at EdEx. As a Graduate Mental Health Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the mental health and well-being of our pupils.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will work closely with our teaching staff to provide individual and group support sessions to pupils, focusing on SEN and mental health. You will be responsible for inspiring and motivating pupils, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1:1 and group support sessions to pupils
  • Work closely with teaching staff to develop and implement mental health and SEN strategies
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure effective support for pupils
Requirements:

We are looking for a graduate with a keen interest in mental health, therapy, psychological research, education, speech and language, and special needs. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with pupils, staff, and parents.
