We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Design Manager to join our team at Winsearch Careers. As a key member of our design team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our sales engineers and project managing new designs from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support sales engineers in developing new designs and concepts
  • Project manage new designs from concept to completion, including customer site evaluation
  • Create detailed manufacturing drawings and 3D CAD models as required
  • Apply engineering knowledge to ensure designs meet customer specifications and manufacturing guidelines
  • Work collaboratively with the production team to meet customer requirements and develop new products
  • Develop and refine manufacturing drawings to ensure conformity to health and safety standards
  • Produce BOMs, technical documentation, and manufacturing/installation/operating instructions as required

Main Responsibilities

  • Design and Development
    • Build and fault-find pneumatic control circuits
    • Prepare technical specifications and present proposals
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Deal directly with in-house manufacturing, external suppliers, and customers
    • Work directly with the shop floor, suppliers, and customers

Requirements

  • Strong engineering knowledge and experience in design and development
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
