Design Technology Educator

Rotherwood Education is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Design Technology Teacher to join a forward-thinking high school in Nelson. This is a full-time, ongoing position starting in October.
As a Design Technology Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching product design and graphics to KS3 and 4 students. You will also be expected to participate in planning, parent-teacher conferences, and other duties as a permanent member of staff.
To be successful in this role, you will need to hold a valid teaching qualification, such as a PGCE, QTS, or QTLS. You should also have previous experience teaching design technology and possess excellent classroom management skills.
Additionally, you will need to provide details of your last two references, covering the last five years of your work history. You must also have a current DBS check or be willing to apply for one as part of your registration.
Rotherwood Education is committed to the safeguarding of children and young people. You will be required to complete a face-to-face registration and satisfy several checks.
