Reception Teacher Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Reception Teacher to join our vibrant and fun primary school in Maidstone. As a Reception Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of our young students, promoting teamwork, and cultivating a conducive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum to groups of children, focusing on individual learning targets and encouraging strengths and improvement.
  • Develop maths ability and introduce fractions, statistics, and geometry.
  • Help children develop their writing ability by creating plots, characters, and settings for stories.
  • Monitor children's progress and report back to parents as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications (experienced teachers and ECTs welcome to apply).
  • Ability to commute to Maidstone via public transport.
  • Confidence to hit the ground running, proactively lead a class, and manage behaviour in line with school policies.
