About the Role

Muc-Off is seeking a highly skilled Tribologist to join our team as a Performance Expert. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for defining and delivering value from the field in pursuit of our performance mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and run tests to analyze performance and wear data
  • Manage complex data streams and construct timely and clear reports
  • Condense large amounts of data into concise reports
  • Adapt ASTM testing standards where possible
  • Design and refurbishment management of test tokens used in tribology testing
  • Experience of tribological testing of lubricants, coatings, and surface treatments
  • Experience with statistical analysis, data management techniques, and sampling requirements
  • Lubricant formulation experience to advise formulators on observed wear and performance from testing
Requirements
  • Relevant PhD or research-based qualification
  • Experience with the Bruker TriboLab and Origin graphing software
  • Strong written and excel skills
