Job Summary

Muc-Off is seeking a highly skilled Tribologist Expert to join our team. As a key member of our performance optimization team, you will be responsible for defining and delivering value from the field in pursuit of our performance mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and run tests to analyze lubricant performance and wear
  • Manage complex data streams and construct timely and clear reports
  • Condense large amounts of data from multiple performance and wear tests into concise reports
  • Adapt ASTM testing standards where possible
  • Design and refurbishment management of test tokens used in tribology testing

Requirements
  • Relevant PhD or research-based qualification
  • Experience of tribological testing of lubricants, coatings, and surface treatments
  • Experience with statistical analysis and data management techniques
  • Strong written and excel skills
  • Experience with wear measurement and material surface analysis using white light interferometry (WLI)
