Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Tribologist to join our team, responsible for defining and delivering value from the field in pursuit of our performance mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and run tests to analyze lubricant performance and wear
  • Manage complex data streams and construct timely and clear reports
  • Condense large amounts of data into concise reports, adapting ASTM testing standards where possible
  • Design and refurbish test tokens used in tribology testing across various substrates
  • Experience with statistical analysis, data management techniques, and sampling requirements
  • Lubricant formulation experience to advise formulators on observed wear and performance
  • Experience with wear measurement and material surface analysis using white light interferometry (WLI)
Requirements
  • Relevant PhD or research-based qualification
  • Experience with tribological testing of coatings and surface treatments
  • Experience with the Bruker TriboLab and Origin graphing software
  • Strong written and excel skills, with experience of suitable data management techniques
