Join our Digital Skills Academy and embark on a transformative journey to become a skilled professional in the tech industry. In partnership with Belfast Metropolitan College, we offer an eight-week training course that prepares you for a potential Associate position in roles such as DevOps Engineers and Software Development.

During the academy, you will receive training in:

  • Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)
  • Cisco Cybersecurity Essentials
  • Java
  • Human Insights
  • Design Thinking

As a participant, you will enjoy:

  • A weekly training allowance of £175
  • Reimbursement of weekly travel expenses
  • Eligibility for childcare allowance

Upon successful completion of the course, you will be guaranteed a job interview with Version 1. However, successful completion is not a guarantee of employment.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be eligible for the Digital Skills Academy, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Hold a university degree classification 2:2 in any discipline or a Level 5 qualification in a STEM subject
  • Be eligible to work in the UK and possess UK Security Clearance
  • Have appropriate IT access to link to online tuition

Preference will be given to applicants with at least a 2.2 degree in a STEM-related subject. If a large number of applications are received, Version 1 reserves the right to enhance the minimum criteria to generate a manageable shortlist for interviews.
