Digital Skills Academy with Version 1

Are you looking to kickstart your career in the tech industry? The Digital Skills Academy with Version 1 is an exciting opportunity to gain the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in roles such as DevOps Engineers and Software Development.

Our eight-week training course is delivered onsite at Belfast Metropolitan College (BMC) and is designed to prepare you for a potential Associate position. You'll receive training in:

  • Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)
  • Cisco Cybersecurity Essentials
  • Java
  • Human insights
  • Design thinking

As a participant in the academy, you'll receive:

  • A weekly training allowance of £175
  • Reimbursement of weekly travel expenses
  • Eligibility for childcare allowance

Upon successful completion of the course, you'll be guaranteed a job interview with Version 1. However, successful completion is not a guarantee of employment.

Qualifications

No prior experience is necessary, but you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Hold a university degree classification 2:2 in any discipline or a Level 5 qualification in a STEM subject
  • Be eligible to work in the UK and hold UK Security Clearance
  • Have appropriate IT access to link to online tuition

Version 1 reserves the right to enhance the minimum criteria if necessary to generate a manageable shortlist for interviews. Preference will be given to applicants with at least a 2.2 degree in a STEM-related subject.
