Join our team of innovative audio engineers and contribute to the development of cutting-edge acoustic systems. As a Senior Audio Engineer at Sonos, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced acoustic structures and systems for our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement acoustic system designs that meet our high standards of quality and performance.
  • Evaluate and define system requirements to ensure seamless integration with our products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex technical challenges.
  • Analyze product data and lead the optimization of design for peak performance.
  • Contribute to the strategic development of our technology roadmap, driving innovation and growth.
  • Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous learning and growth.
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in acoustics or a related field.
  • Proficient in building tools for system simulation and data analysis using Matlab.
  • Experience performing and interpreting audio measurements in both electronic and acoustic domains.
  • Solid understanding of digital signal processing fundamentals.
  • Skilled in manipulating physical prototypes to achieve precise acoustic results.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience articulating technical concepts to cross-functional teams.
  • Proven track record of supporting product development from initial exploration to mass production.
  • Ability to travel overseas as needed to meet project and business requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Software programming experience, preferably in Python.
  • Familiarity with simulation software such as COMSOL.
  • Experience with supporting high-volume production in consumer electronics.
