Job Title: Wholesale Sales Manager - Luxury Fashion Brand

Job Summary:

Fella & Jones is seeking a highly skilled Wholesale Sales Manager to join our team. As a Wholesale Sales Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining existing accounts, developing new accounts, and driving business growth for our luxury fashion brand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with Existing Clients: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring excellent customer service and driving sales growth.
  • Sales Strategy: Collaborate with the Wholesale Director to develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth and expand the client base globally.
  • New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, investigating and planning new lines or categories to market to our customer base.
  • Sales Margin Management: Set and manage selling margins, taking into account direct costs, to ensure profitability.
  • Debt and Payment Terms: Manage debt and payment terms with customers, ensuring timely clearance of invoices and purchase orders.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, increasing customer spend through staff training and identifying opportunities for new lines.
  • Business Growth: Increase customer numbers within the wholesale business, while maintaining excellent service to the current base.
  • P&L Responsibility: Take ownership of sales, delivery, and profitability, justifying results to the Commercial Director.
  • Brand Positioning: Ensure the brand is positioned correctly within the local and wider market, in line with brand strategy.
  • Collection Knowledge: Possess a deep understanding of the collection and brand ambition.
  • Business Development: Expand business, organizing sales meetings on a regular basis.

Requirements:

  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrate a proven track record in developing relationships with buyers and meeting/exceeding sales targets.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the UK & International fashion industry, trends, products, and competitors.
  • Self-Starter: Be a self-starter, able to motivate yourself and be flexible when required.
  • Customer Interaction: Confidently interact with customers, showcasing and selling the collection in the showroom and out on the road.
  • Communication Skills: Strong organization and communication skills, with excellent telephone manner.
  • Results-Driven: Fresh, energetic, and results-driven, with a strong interest in luxury retail industry and design.
  • Leadership: Confident and outgoing, with strong leadership skills.
