About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to join our North Somerset Council team as a Service Development Specialist. As a key member of our Single Point of Access Team, you will play a crucial role in developing new ways to deliver therapy services across the county.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of innovative therapy service delivery models
  • Work collaboratively with the team to identify and address service gaps and opportunities
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on occupational therapy best practices
  • Support the implementation of new service initiatives and projects

About the Team

Our Single Point of Access Team is a dynamic and forward-thinking team that is committed to delivering high-quality therapy services to the residents of North Somerset. We operate a 5-day per week service, Monday to Friday, and offer flexible working opportunities to support work-life balance.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a registered Occupational Therapist with postgraduate experience working in a relevant setting. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
