About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust. As a Band 6 Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality occupational therapy services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities
As an Occupational Therapist in this role, you will be responsible for:
- Providing comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and interventions to patients with mental health conditions.
- Developing and implementing treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Supervising and supporting junior staff and students.
- Participating in service development and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A BSc Hons in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Experience of working in mental health settings.
- Knowledge of the Model of Human Occupation.
