Key Responsibilities- Provide expert and effective social work practice in complex situations, assessing and managing high levels of risk and providing expert opinion in relation to decisions surrounding complex cases.
- Undertake a professional leadership role, taking responsibility for the learning and development of others through leadership and management, supervision, mentoring, assessing, and teaching.
- Work collaboratively with individuals, local communities, and partners to empower them to deliver the best possible outcomes for people and create a positive Adult Social Care culture.
- Conduct Care Act assessments to determine eligibility and identify strengths, goals, and needs that may require statutory support.
- Ensure individuals receive timely and proportionate reviews, reflecting their changing circumstances.
- Qualified social worker with registration with Social Work England.
- Ability to establish professional, effective working relationships with a range of partners, colleagues, adults, families, and their carers.
- Capacity for honest, critical reflection and openness to learning.
- Relentless commitment to quality and best practice.
