Fawkes & Reece West Midlands is a prominent contractor specializing in New Build Housing projects across the country. We are currently seeking a dedicated Site Management Assistant to join our team.

Position Overview

In the role of Site Management Assistant, you will work closely with the lead Site Manager to effectively inspire, guide, and oversee the on-site team, ensuring that all health, safety, and environmental standards are met.

Your contributions will be vital in the smooth and secure management of the construction site, as well as in maintaining essential records and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the workforce, including subcontractors and temporary staff, to achieve project milestones.
  • Ensure availability and stock of necessary materials.
  • Maintain quality standards and adhere to construction schedules.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with the subcontractor network on-site.
  • Monitor and enforce health and safety regulations.
  • Conduct site inductions for new personnel.
  • Mentor and develop apprentices or trainees on-site.
  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure effective communication and relationships.
  • Assist in maintaining production in line with the build schedule and quality best practices.
  • Ensure the site team delivers exceptional customer service throughout the project.
  • Plan and manage site orders to minimize waste.
  • Secure the site at the end of each day and complete weekly forklift checklists.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • Previous experience in a residential construction environment at the Site Management Assistant level.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of health and safety regulations and building legislation.
  • Ability to adapt to change and demonstrate initiative.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to manage complex situations and motivate team members.
  • Possession of a valid CSCS card, SSSTS certification, and First Aid certification.
