About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join our team as a Senior Medical Specialist in Geriatric Psychiatry. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to patients with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Leadership: Provide clinical leadership and guidance to junior staff, medical students, and other disciplines to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
  • Service Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of service improvements, including the management of physical health clinics and the promotion of best practice.
  • Education and Training: Develop and deliver educational programs for junior staff, medical students, and other disciplines to enhance their knowledge and skills in geriatric psychiatry.
  • Research and Audit: Participate in research and audit activities to improve patient outcomes and advance the field of geriatric psychiatry.
  • Continuing Professional Development: Ensure active participation in continuing professional development (CPD) to maintain expertise and stay up-to-date with best practices.
