About the Role

Kennedys Law LLP is seeking an experienced Associate to join our highly reputable Healthcare Division, ranked in the top tier for Defendant Clinical Negligence in both Chambers and Legal 500.

The successful candidate will work in our Cambridge office, 2 days a week, on clinical negligence cases, advising the NHS Resolution, NHS Trusts, and medical malpractice insurers on EL/PL and clinical negligence claims.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise on medical insurance coverage, health law advice, high-profile Court of Protection matters, Child Protection issues, and regulatory matters.
  • Represent clients at inquests and judicial reviews.
  • Work with a presence across our London, Cambridge, Birmingham, Sheffield, and global offices.
Requirements
  • 0-3 years' UK relevant experience.
  • Good knowledge of clinical negligence litigation process and Civil Procedure Rules.
  • Ideally some knowledge of insurance and coverage issues.
