Position Overview:
Our organization, Remedy Social Work, is seeking an Experienced Child Welfare Specialist to become a vital member of our Looked After Children Team.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Child Welfare Specialist, you will:
  • Conduct statutory social work with children in care, ensuring their ongoing support and assessment of evolving needs.
  • Formulate comprehensive plans for children and their families, adhering to legal obligations and departmental guidelines.
  • Develop detailed Care Plans for each child, ready for review in collaboration with the team manager.
  • Enhance placement stability and long-term outcomes for children in care.
  • Facilitate opportunities for education, healthcare, and recreational activities to improve the life prospects of looked after children.
  • Adhere to child protection protocols and procedures relevant to children in care.
Qualifications Required:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
  • QSW Status, including relevant qualifications and registration with Social Work England.
  • Completion of ASYE.
Additional Information:
