About the Role

University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Quality Manager for Cellular Therapies to join our team. As a key member of our quality management team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our quality management system, including assisting with setting up trials and helping with the preparation for external audits and inspections.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Quality and Service Improvement Manager and other members of the quality team in maintaining our quality management system.
  • Assist with setting up trials and helping with the preparation for external audits and inspections.
  • Collaborate with the wider cancer management team to ensure that service objectives are achieved in a timely fashion, in line with Trust Priorities and prevailing best practice or accreditation, licensing or regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with the Quality Manager for Cellular Therapies and the Quality Manager for HSCT to ensure seamless quality management.
Requirements
  • Relevant training or experience in quality management.
  • Knowledge of the NHS or other healthcare system(s).
  • Knowledge of governance processes, incident management, and risk assessment.
  • Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in the use of IT, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, internet, and email.
  • Good communication skills, including verbal, non-verbal, and written communication.
  • Able to prioritize and manage own workload, work collaboratively and effectively with others, and solve problems and manage time effectively.
