Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Manager to join our team at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will work closely with the Laboratory Director and Laboratory Manager to ensure that our stem cell laboratory meets regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead and co-lead on regulatory inspections and audits
  • Develop and implement quality management systems and policies
  • Collaborate with the cellular therapies team to obtain a HTA license for tissue procurement
  • Support the establishment of treatment pathways for TIL therapy
  • Work towards obtaining a HTA license for tissue procurement for starting material of Oncology Advanced Therapy Medicinal products (ATMPs)

Person Specification
  • Education to a degree level or equivalent
  • Relevant post-graduate training in quality management or equivalent experience in quality management
  • Knowledge of the NHS or other healthcare system(s)
  • Knowledge of clinical aspects of cellular therapies and stem cell transplantation
  • Familiar and competent with research methodology and clinical audit
  • Experience and knowledge of the components of clinical governance processes, incident response and management as well as risk management and change control
