About the Role

We are seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join our team at Gregory Distribution. As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex issues with heavy vehicles and trailers using the latest diagnostic equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with heavy vehicles and trailers using advanced diagnostic equipment.
  • Maintain and repair vehicles and trailers to manufacturer specifications, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of all paperwork and documentation.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to our fleet operations team.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in heavy vehicle maintenance and repair.

Requirements

  • Qualified HGV Technician up to Level 3 (Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair) or part-qualified HGV Technician up to Level 2 (Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair).
  • HGV Class 1 CE licence beneficial.
  • 3 years previous experience in heavy vehicle maintenance and repair.
  • Intuitive diagnostic skills and ability to work with complex equipment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work under own initiative and meet deadlines.
