About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Active Travel Officer in Schools. The successful candidate will play a key role in encouraging and embedding active travel within schools and educational settings in Doncaster.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and delivery of active travel initiatives in schools to improve health through walking, wheeling, and cycling.
  • Collaborate with schools and educational settings to increase the uptake of walking, wheeling, and cycling.
  • Support school champions and leverage local authority resources to foster connections between schools and the wider walking, wheeling, and cycling community.
  • Develop a program of work that will leave a lasting legacy of walking, wheeling, and cycling in schools and educational settings across Doncaster.
  • Provide support to other areas within the Transportation team as required.
