Assessment Officer

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assessment Officer to support our Secretarial & Business Support Department in Manchester.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and implementing assessment processes, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of results, and working closely with academic staff to maintain high standards of assessment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the implementation of assessments, ensuring all necessary procedures are followed.
- Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of results, maintaining confidentiality and integrity of all assessment-related data.
- Work closely with academic staff to ensure high standards of assessment, providing support and guidance as needed.
- Handle queries and concerns about assessments from students and staff, providing clear and concise information.
- Contribute to the development of assessment policies and procedures, ensuring they are up-to-date and effective.
- Participate in relevant meetings and training sessions, staying informed about best practices and industry developments.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience in an administrative or support role, preferably in an educational setting.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with a focus on maintaining high standards of assessment.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively with staff and students.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
