Job Summary

The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for managing a team of engineers, overseeing the development and certification of technical outputs, and supporting the program to deliver on cost and time.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of engineers to ensure the delivery of high-quality technical outputs.
  • Assist in the development and certification of technical outputs, including the production of safe designs.
  • Support the program to deliver on cost and time, including the management of engineering resources.
  • Be accountable to a Principal Engineer and responsible for the delivery of electrical systems on a program or project.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Formal qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience of working in the marine industry, including knowledge of design codes and procurement processes.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of engineers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Knowledge of engineering design software and MS Office applications.
