Electrical and Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical and Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Windsor Food Machinery in Kent. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining various types of meat and food processing machinery.
Key Responsibilities- Install and service food processing machinery at customer sites, including on-site visits and occasional overnight stays.
- Carry out refurbishments on second-hand machinery and equipment at our premises in Hamstreet, including stripping down and replacing worn-out or damaged parts.
- Work under the guidance of our Workshop Engineering Manager and collaborate with a team of four other engineers.
- Adhere to a standard working schedule of 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with overtime paid for hours worked outside of this period.
- Hold a qualified electrical and mechanical engineering background, with extensive experience in an engineering capacity.
- Possess welding and fabrication skills, with a background in repairing machinery.
- Have previous experience working with FMCG or food processing machinery, although this is not essential.
- Overnight stay allowance of £100 per night, in addition to hotel accommodation and subsistence expenses.
- Two bonuses per year, pro rata, based on the company's financial year (April to March).
- Use of a company van.
- 20 days' holiday, plus statutory bank holidays, with an additional week's holiday after 10 years' service.
