Key Responsibilities
  • Verify drawings and designs, highlighting inconsistencies to the line manager
  • Inspect and record materials and plant deliveries for compliance, quality, and quantity
  • Monitor and record attendance and timekeeping of subcontractors and operatives
  • Develop and implement RAMS, Inspection Test Plans, and manage their completion, ensuring the client is informed
  • Liaise with clients, reporting progress, quality, environmental, and health and safety matters, as well as professional staff
  • Attend internal and site meetings, maintaining a professional demeanor
  • Ability to read and work from drawings, conveying information to others
  • Understand and work to programs, producing short-term site-based programs
  • Order materials, maintain records, and supervise subcontract trades and labor
  • Set up and participate in subcontractor meetings
  • Conduct formal safety inspections to ensure high construction and site safety standards
  • Prepare site reports, inspections, and test plans, keeping them up to date
  • Maintain quality control procedures
  • Utilize and maintain company systems, procedures, forms, templates, and policies
  • Motivate yourself and your workforce
  • Problem-solving and assisting with internal and external audits
  • Inform the line manager and commercial team of changes, delays, or additional works
  • Complete site health and safety, quality, and environmental inspections, and job-related paperwork
  • Read, understand, convey, and build to approved drawings and specifications
Requirements
  • SMSTS certification
  • CSCS Managers card
  • First aid training
  • Full UK driving license and own transport
