Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the service and upkeep of high-quality photocopiers and multifunction devices, while consistently delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.
It is crucial that you possess substantial experience as a photocopier technician, along with robust IT and connectivity capabilities.Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform maintenance and repairs on a comprehensive range of multifunctional and production printing equipment, adhering to established technical specifications.
2. Respond to field service requests at client locations as directed, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of issues on-site.
3. Maintain precise technical documentation through the use of service support tools and effective communication with call management.
4. Organize and manage a suitable vehicle or on-site spare parts inventory to minimize service delays.
5. Ensure that all tools, technical manuals, and equipment are readily available and in safe working condition.
6. Manage access to a cloud-based digital document repository through regular synchronization of provided laptop tools.
7. Uphold the maintenance of the company vehicle in accordance with established procedures, ensuring it remains clean and presentable.
8. Keep accurate records of work-related expenses and submit them along with receipts in a timely manner.
9. Participate in technical training sessions, seminars, and online courses to enhance technical skills and product knowledge.
10. Collaborate with other departments to ensure a high level of operational service.11. Regularly communicate within the Technical Department regarding technical observations to support customer and equipment-related issues.
Candidate Profile:
Essential Qualifications:
- Proficient technician with extensive experience in the repair and maintenance of both color and monochrome multifunction devices, including low, mid, and high-volume machines.
- Experience with connectivity, including the installation of print drivers and basic network connections.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Mandatory DBS and SC Vetting requirements for this position.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Advanced IT networking and connectivity experience, including network scanning setup and full multifunction printer installation on print servers.

- Demonstrates a calm and diplomatic demeanor in all situations.
- Adheres to all client processes and procedures while on-site.
- Possesses strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively at all levels, even in challenging situations.

- Holds a full, clean driving license.
Compensation Package:
- Competitive salary up to £32,000
