About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Mindful Chef Ltd. as a Commercial Procurement Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to drive our procurement strategy and ensure the highest standards of quality and value in our fresh produce supply chain.

The successful candidate will be responsible for negotiating commercial agreements with suppliers, ensuring compliance with our values and brand positioning, and working closely with our Technical, Operations, Kitchen, and Brand teams to source the best possible ingredients at the best price.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to drive gross margin improvements and economies of scale in overhead cost lines.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements with suppliers to ensure the best possible prices and quality.
  • Work closely with our Technical, Operations, Kitchen, and Brand teams to ensure that our procurement strategy aligns with our business goals and values.
  • Ensure compliance with our values and brand positioning in all procurement activities.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in our procurement processes and practices.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in procurement, preferably in the food industry.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong understanding of food safety regulations and compliance.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
