Key Responsibilities
  • Manage local non-conformances and reports for Spacecraft Production, ensuring timely implementation.
  • Initiate and oversee Occurrence Reports, guaranteeing complete execution.
  • Verify technician training and compliance with skill Matrix, ensuring adherence to industry standards.
  • Authorize work halts on specific builds, ensuring quality and safety.
Technical Expertise
  • Conduct hardware inspections at key production stages, including visual, measurement, and electrical testing, to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Provide specialized technical advice to the Spacecraft Production team on quality control matters, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Assist in decision-making processes for incident severity and go/no-go determinations, ensuring informed decisions.
  • Review and ensure technical integrity of Spacecraft Production work instructions, offering support for error corrections as needed.
Requirements
  • 2 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing operations, with a strong background in quality roles.
  • Expertise in composite/carbon and/or electrical testing methods, with a proven track record of quality improvement initiatives.
  • Strong attention to detail in reporting and proficiency in using digital tools and tablets, with a commitment to quality and safety.
