Role Overview: Mechanical Technician Operative at Medik8

As a Mechanical Technician Operative, you will be integral to the efficient functioning of our production lines within the Production team. Reporting to the Production Manager, your responsibilities will encompass a range of technical and maintenance duties aimed at ensuring peak performance and minimizing downtime.

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 2.30pm-11pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Line Setup: Prepare and configure production lines for operation, ensuring all machinery is properly installed and ready for use.
  • Equipment Adjustments: Make necessary modifications to machinery settings to uphold product quality and production efficiency.
  • Filling Equipment Checks: Conduct routine inspections and adjustments on filling machines to guarantee precise product filling.
  • Weigh Scale Calibration: Regularly verify and calibrate weigh scales to ensure adherence to specified tolerances and standards.
  • Disassembly for Cleaning: Take apart components as needed for cleaning processes.
  • Reassembly: Reconstruct cleaned components, ensuring they are correctly fitted and fully operational.
  • Ink Printing Setup: Prepare video jet ink printing equipment for product labeling.
  • Daily Maintenance Checks: Perform daily and visual maintenance inspections to identify and resolve potential issues.
  • Equipment Upkeep: Maintain production room equipment not covered in the preventive maintenance schedule.
  • Pump Preparation: Set up and purge pumps to ensure readiness for production.
  • Production Line Support: Assist in the effective operation of all production lines as needed, providing technical support and troubleshooting.

Qualifications:
