Our focus is on collaborating with developers, plumbing and heating professionals, builders, and groundworkers to deliver comprehensive drainage systems, rainwater management solutions, and plastic plumbing products.
The objective of this role is to execute category management, marketing, and sales strategies that drive profitable revenue growth in the Above Ground Plumbing sector. This position is based at our Edlington facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire Above Ground Plumbing product range, enhancing revenue and profitability through strategic product placement in both B2B and B2C sectors.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis to derive actionable market insights.
- Develop and maintain the Above Ground Plumbing business plan aligned with the overall corporate strategy.
- Manage the product life cycle from inception to phase-out, including formulating exit strategies for underperforming or outdated products.
- Continuously assess market size, share, and evolving needs while considering technological advancements, competitive actions, and regulatory changes.
- Drive market-oriented product innovation and new product development in response to market dynamics.
- Facilitate the successful introduction of new products into the market.
- Understand customer expectations and ensure product offerings meet these needs to optimize revenue and profitability.
- Administer product SKU management within the organization.
- Establish and uphold pricing and margin strategies for Above Ground Plumbing products.
- Support sales initiatives aimed at revenue and profit enhancement, including the creation of technical documentation, training resources, and promotional materials.
- Forecast product demand trends accurately.
- Monitor and manage budget initiatives effectively.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Preferred, but not mandatory, a degree in marketing or business studies.
- Proven experience in category or product management within the construction product industry.
- Desirable experience in marketing, selling, or installing Above Ground Plumbing products or related offerings.
- Strategic thinking capabilities with a focus on developing business plans that maximize revenue and return on investment.
- Strong analytical skills coupled with commercial insight.
- Ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with senior management and distribution partners.
- Competence in interpreting complex data to identify trends and performance shifts.
- Commercially oriented with the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively.
- Commitment to quality and a history of driving continuous improvement.
- In-depth understanding of market dynamics.
- Willingness to travel and work away from home for brief periods.
