Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized care and support to service users, promoting independence and dignity.
- Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and toileting, while encouraging autonomy and self-reliance.
- Support clients in daily activities, such as meal preparation, medication management, and household chores.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, families, and other professionals, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of care provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is essential, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality care and support.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with service users, families, and colleagues.
- Empathy, patience, and a compassionate nature, with a commitment to promoting the well-being and dignity of service users.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the changing needs of service users.
- Basic IT skills, including proficiency in touchscreen devices and computers.
