About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated practitioner to join our Mental Health Support Team in Gloucestershire. As a Whole School Approach Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting schools to improve mental health and wellbeing outcomes for children and young people.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support the development and delivery of training packages to school staff, parents, and young people.
  • Provide advice and guidance to the Whole School Approach Coordinator and other professionals on mental health and wellbeing.
  • Collaborate with the school community to break down stigma around mental health issues and promote resilience in children and young people.

Person Specification

We are looking for a practitioner with a strong background in safeguarding children and experience of working with children and young people. A qualification in a relevant field, such as NVQ3 or HNC/NND, is essential. Experience of delivering training and a desire to make a positive difference to the lives of children and young people are highly desirable.
