English Teacher (KS3) and SENCo Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and passionate English Teacher to join our team at Bramfield House School, a specialist educational needs school for boys aged 7-16. As a key member of our teaching team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality English lessons to our students, with the potential to take on additional SENCo responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver inclusive, responsive, and innovative teaching and learning within the curriculum area of English.
  • Develop and implement literacy strategies across key stages 3, with a focus on reading, writing, and oracy.
  • Work closely with the SENCo to develop and implement interventions to raise standards of literacy for students.
  • Teach in accordance with the ethos, organisation, and policies of the school.
  • Be responsible for the learning and achievement of all pupils in your classes, ensuring equality of opportunity for all.
