About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional English Teacher and SENCO to join our team at Bramfield House School, a leading independent residential special educational needs school for boys. As a key member of our close-knit team, you will play a vital role in delivering inclusive, responsive, and innovative teaching and learning within the curriculum area of English.

As an English Teacher and SENCO, you will be responsible for delivering literacy lessons across the school and developing a literacy culture that supports the academic and personal growth of our students. You will work closely with the SENCO to implement interventions that raise standards of literacy for your classes and contribute to the development of a comprehensive literacy strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning in English, ensuring that all students achieve their full potential.
  • Develop and implement literacy interventions to support students with special educational needs.
  • Collaborate with the SENCO and other teachers to develop a comprehensive literacy strategy.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment.
