This is a unique opportunity to make your mark in an exciting area of the organisation - through a combination of strategy development and hands-on delivery. To do this, we are seeking someone with strong category and Utility/Public Contract Regulation experience and a willingness to take the lead and get things done.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead complex tenders and implement competitive tenders compliant with European/UK procurement legislation.
  • Design and implement strategic procurement strategies to drive business growth.
  • Manage supply chain relationships and supplier performance to ensure optimal results.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and execute effective sourcing strategies.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of procurement regulations and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Senior procurement/category management experience with a track record of leading complex tenders.
  • Proficiency in implementing competitive tenders compliant with European/UK procurement legislation.
  • Demonstrated ability in designing and implementing strategic procurement strategies.
  • Proven experience in managing supply chain relationships and supplier performance.
  • Degree level education or equivalent, or MCIPS qualification.
