The Role

As the Global Category Manager IT/OT Infrastructure Services, you will report directly to the Team Lead for IT Services, Infrastructure, and Cloud. This exciting opportunity within the refreshed IT/OT Procurement and Supplier Management team will give you the chance to be part of a global team and contribute to innovative projects across RWE's businesses, including Renewables, Energy Trading, and more.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the overarching global Category Strategy for IT/OT Infrastructure Services, including Managed Workplace, Printing, Networks, Telecoms, Mobile, Data Centres, and Cloud Services.
  • Act as the subject matter expert and strategic thinker, providing guidance to category managers and business areas.
  • Conduct complex and highly strategic RFx activities, aligning procurement goals with business targets.
  • Procurement process management, including automation initiatives and internal projects.
  • Engage with key internal and external stakeholders, building a trusted network of suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Your Profile

  • University degree with several years of professional experience.
  • Expert in procurement strategy and practical knowledge of financial management principles.
  • Deep relevant IT/OT supply market and industry knowledge of relevant categories.
  • Negotiation skills, externally and internally across all levels of the cross-functional hierarchy.
  • Highly creative, articulate, attentive to detail, and welcoming to new approaches or ideas.
  • Excellent proficiency in English; German language skills beneficial but not essential.
