Global Category Manager IT/OT Infrastructure Services

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Category Manager IT/OT Infrastructure Services to join our team at RWE AG. As a key member of our Procurement and Supplier Management team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a global category strategy for IT and OT infrastructure services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a global category strategy for IT and OT infrastructure services, including managed workplace, printing, networks, telecoms, mobile, data centers, and cloud services.
- Provide subject matter expertise and strategic guidance to category managers and business areas on IT and OT infrastructure services.
- Conduct complex and highly strategic RFx activities to deliver the highest potential value-add.
- Align procurement goals with business targets and moderate procurement processes to deliver the best outcomes.
- Engage with key internal and external stakeholders to build a solid and trusted network of suppliers and potential suppliers.
Requirements
- University degree and several years of professional experience in procurement and IT/OT infrastructure services.
- Expertise in procurement strategy and practical knowledge of financial management principles.
- Deep relevant IT/OT supply market and industry knowledge of relevant categories.
- Negotiation skills, externally and internally across all levels of our cross-functional hierarchy.
- Highly creative, articulate, attentive to detail, and welcoming to new approaches or ideas.
- Excellent proficiency in English; German language skills beneficial but not essential.
