Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Support Specialist to join our IT team at Card Factory. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise to our business applications.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Incident Management: Investigate and resolve complex application-related incidents and problems, working closely with other IT teams to ensure minimal disruption to our business operations.
  2. Application Support: Provide 2nd/3rd line support for key business applications across the Card Factory Group, ensuring that all systems are operational and providing guidance to colleagues to drive issue resolution.
  3. Technical Problem Management: Undertake technical problem management and root cause analysis to identify and resolve technical issues.
  4. Operational Improvements: Identify and suggest operational improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our IT systems.
  5. Project Support: Support the delivery of key projects, collaborating with other colleagues and support partners as required.
Requirements
  1. Technical Expertise: Exposure to ERP Systems (SAP S4/HANA, Microsoft Dynamics AX) and Data Transformation Platforms (Dell Boomi, SSIS, EDI).
  2. Ecommerce Experience: Experience with Ecommerce Platforms (Sales Force Commerce Cloud).
  3. Reporting Skills: Proficiency in Reporting Technologies (SSRS, Power BI).
  4. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  5. Organizational Skills: Highly organized, able to plan and implement technical changes and multiple tasks concurrently.
  6. Communication Skills: Good technical documentation skills, adaptable to meet changing business needs, and able to discuss complex technical issues with non-technical audiences.
  7. Testing Experience: Experience in system testing standards and procedures for all testing cycles.
  8. Stakeholder Management: Good communication skills and experience working with a wide range of stakeholders.
