Application Support Specialist

Card Factory is seeking a skilled Application Support Analyst/Tester to join our IT team, focusing on Supply Chain and Business Development.
This role combines applications support and test capabilities, providing technical expertise to core business applications across the company. The successful candidate will work within the functional squad, managing a diverse range of technologies in the Supply Chain/Business Development arena.
The ideal candidate will investigate and resolve complex application-related incidents and problems, working collaboratively with other IT teams. They will implement functional application changes and releases, ensuring availability, capacity, performance, and security levels are maintained.
Additionally, the individual will be responsible for identifying and defining required tests, monitoring test coverage, and evaluating the overall quality experienced during testing. This role also involves specifying test data and evaluating the outcome of testing conducted in each test cycle.
Based at Century House in Wakefield, this role offers a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in our team. Colleagues are required to work in the office for a minimum of 1-2 days per week, with the expectation of additional attendance when needed.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide technical knowledge for project and BAU incidents.
- Provide 2nd/3rd line support for key business applications across the Card Factory Group.
- Undertake technical problem management and root cause analysis.
- Support the delivery of key projects, collaborating with other colleagues and support partners as required.
- Provide technical expertise to other IT teams.
- Exposure to ERP Systems (SAP S4/HANA, Microsoft Dynamics AX) and Data Transformation Platforms (Dell Boomi, SSIS, EDI).
- Experience with Ecommerce Platforms (Sales Force Commerce Cloud).
- Proficiency in Reporting Technologies (SSRS, Power BI).
