Job Summary

The Senior Procurement Manager will be responsible for leading the procurement function for QTS Data Centers, driving strategic sourcing, supply chain management, and stakeholder engagement. This role will involve developing long-term business strategies aligned with key stakeholders to drive results directly linked to business goals and contribute to the organization's position as a market leader.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze capital plans to establish equipment budget and procurement plans
  • Provide weekly procurement status updates to senior leadership
  • Conduct supply market research and deploy strategic plans to drive cost savings and efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and processes
  • Collaborate with Global Procurement leaders to drive best practices and innovation
  • Manage data, documentation, and business processes to ensure seamless operations
  • Assess risk levels and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential threats
  • Lead category management activities and competitive sourcing events to drive value and savings
  • Support construction projects and monitor supply chain conditions to ensure timely delivery
  • Develop supplier performance KPIs and lead performance improvement initiatives
  • Manage equipment inventory and logistics to ensure efficient operations
  • Liaise with stakeholders, suppliers, and finance teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
  • Implement order processes and provide support to site operations to ensure smooth execution

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Supply Chain Management or Business Administration
  • Seven to ten years of relevant experience in procurement or supply chain management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct experience in supply chain management, with a focus on indirect categories
  • Experience leading teams and managing change initiatives

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Experience in managing change initiatives and driving process improvements
  • Ability to develop sourcing plans and build relationships with stakeholders
  • Procurement leadership experience within indirect categories
  • Skilled in contract management and problem-solving
