Daniel Owen Ltd is currently in search of a highly skilled 'Chartered Building Surveyor' to enhance our esteemed Chartered Surveying and Property Management Firm.

As a proficient and driven Chartered Surveyor, you will be responsible for executing project work and providing professional services across a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing specifications, managing tender processes, and supervising construction projects on-site.
  • Utilizing AutoCAD to create detailed project drawings.
  • Managing planning applications and Building Regulation submissions.
  • Conducting precise measured surveys of properties and land.
  • Overseeing new construction projects on behalf of stakeholders.
  • Compiling feasibility studies and preliminary designs for various building types.
  • Establishing Planned Preventative Maintenance Schedules.
  • Negotiating and drafting schedules of dilapidations.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline.
  • Chartered status (MRICS) is highly advantageous.
  • Proven experience in both residential and commercial environments.
  • Comprehensive understanding of building regulations, health and safety standards, and construction methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in surveying software and tools.
  • Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively.
  • A valid driving license and readiness to travel as necessary.
