Role Overview: As a Senior Engineer specializing in Electrical and Control Systems, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality technical projects while also mentoring junior team members. Your expertise will be crucial in shaping innovative solutions for our clients and defining strategic directions for our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and testing for Dynamic Positioning (DP) vessels and critical industrial systems.
  • Perform annual DP trials and audits, assisting with assurance activities on vessels.
  • Execute risk assessments and feasibility studies aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
  • Develop operational manuals for DP systems.
  • Lead incident investigations and support return-to-work processes.
  • Contribute to achieving stakeholder goals related to emission reductions and incident-free operations.

Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with a proven track record in delivering quality results. A combination of the following qualifications is preferred:

  • Honours Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Cybernetics, Robotics Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Experience in engineering consultancy, particularly in oil and gas or offshore wind sectors.
  • Familiarity with risk analysis techniques, including FMEA, Fault Tree Analysis, and HAZOP.
  • Hands-on experience with electrical and control systems in DP vessels.
  • Proficiency in analyzing control systems and interpreting technical schematics.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, capable of managing multiple projects effectively.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to work independently.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
