The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the sales team to achieve sales targets and objectives. The role will involve overseeing the sales process, implementing sales strategies, and ensuring that each development is fully staffed and holiday and sickness cover are managed appropriately.
Key Responsibilities- Achieve sales budgets and targets for each development.
- Support, manage, and motivate the sales team.
- Implement sales inductions and provide continual training, coaching, and support to aid the development of Sales Advisors and Senior Sales Advisors.
- Oversee site presentation and ensure that it is maintained to the correct standard at all times.
- Agree budgets for each show home with the Head of Sales and brief/liaise with interior designers accordingly.
- Propose sales strategies to the Head of Sales/Sales Director for developments or plots as and when required.
- Ensure that each development is fully staffed and holiday and sickness cover are managed appropriately.
- Work within financial parameters to maximize profit.
- Experience of working as a Sales Manager for a high volume national housebuilder.
- Experience of leading and managing a team.
- GCSE Maths and English (Grade C/4 or above).
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Good administration skills.
- Works effectively to deadlines.
- Proficient IT skills along with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Ability to work on own as well as part of a team.
