Care Assistant / Support Worker - Crawley

Our client provides support to young adults with neurological disorders and learning disabilities in the local community. Their goal is to empower young adults to have a happy and valuable life experience, and for the team to have a passion for the work they do.

Due to an increased workload, we are seeking a Support Worker to join their team based around Crawley.

In this position, you will support one of the clients, enabling them to reclaim their lives, promote their independence, and support them to develop and achieve their goals. All the clients supported have individual personalities and skillsets, albeit with a range of neurological disorders and complex needs. You will support them with a wide range of activities on a daily basis.

This is not a role where you will have to visit multiple clients in a day. The company offers a wrap-around service that enables you to get to know your client and make a real difference to their lives. This includes supporting them in securing their first jobs, moving into their own homes, making friends, and much more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support young adults with neurological disorders and learning disabilities in the local community
  • Enable clients to reclaim their lives and promote their independence
  • Support clients to develop and achieve their goals
  • Provide care with compassion and empathy
  • Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Requirements
  • A fun and happy outlook on life
  • Previous experience in care or a related field is preferred
  • Ability to provide care with compassion and empathy
  • Have the right to work in the UK (Sponsorship is not available)

Pay rate: £14 per hour
