Role Overview

The Junior Construction Supervisor will play a vital role in supporting site operations and ensuring that all construction activities are executed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Shadow experienced site personnel to gain insights into various construction processes.
  • Engage in temporary assignments across departments such as commercial, design, technical, and sales to develop a comprehensive understanding of the home building lifecycle.
  • Maintain quality assurance for all residential units, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Address and investigate customer concerns during the construction phase, taking appropriate corrective actions.
  • Coordinate the workforce and materials effectively to meet production goals.
  • Assist in the recruitment of skilled labor and subcontractors as needed to fulfill site production targets.
  • Participate in the selection and management of subcontractors, ensuring effective communication throughout the project.
  • Verify that construction layout and levels align with provided plans, making necessary adjustments in consultation with relevant stakeholders.
  • Manage resources to adhere to the production schedule, ensuring optimal material availability and labor utilization.
  • Monitor the performance of site workers and approve payments for completed work that meets quality standards.
  • Initiate and facilitate inspections by local building authorities, ensuring compliance with building regulations.
  • Oversee and assess all infrastructure work on the site.
  • Organize timely connections for all essential services to prevent delays in occupancy.
  • Conduct pre-completion walkthroughs with homeowners, documenting any outstanding tasks.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, particularly in relation to COVID-19 protocols.
  • Actively participate in meetings led by the Contracts Manager, including pre-start and regular site manager meetings.
  • Support the Sales Team in preparing and maintaining show homes as requested.
  • Assist the Customer Care Manager in executing maintenance tasks efficiently and professionally.
  • Attend necessary meetings to fulfill job responsibilities.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures consistently.
  • Take on additional tasks as required to support the team.
