Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic cost down for chosen commodities
- Sourcing, quoting, and pricing
- Project managing assigned sourcing projects, including NPI
- Working with Supplier Quality to identify and manage risks within the supply chain
- Compiling technical quotations for new customer projects
- Conducting regular business reviews with key suppliers to review delivery, quality, and cost performances
- Constructing contracts for strategic suppliers
- Overseeing stock levels for chosen commodities
- Acting on KPI data to implement supplier improvements
Requirements:
- 3-5 years+ buying experience in a manufacturing environment
- Technical background by experience or qualification
- Excellent negotiation skills with a strong presence in internal and external meetings
- Team player with a 'can-do, will-do' attitude
Working Arrangements:
This role is advertised as remote, but you will be required to work 3 days a week in the office based on the Oxfordshire/Buckinghamshire borders.
