Job Description

Job Title: Oxbridge Graduate Teaching Assistant - Unqualified Teacher

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Newham, East London

Job Description:

  • Support teachers in class to ensure effective lesson delivery and student engagement.
  • Work with small groups and individuals to raise attainment and improve student outcomes.
  • Plan and deliver lessons on a sliding scale, taking into account student needs and abilities.
  • Learn and observe teaching practices from a large faculty of experienced teachers.
  • Collect evidence towards the teaching standards and contribute to the development of the school's curriculum.
  • Pathway to becoming a qualified teacher, with opportunities for professional development and career advancement.

Requirements:

  • High calibre graduates with a 1st or 2:1 degree from an Oxbridge or Russell Group university.
  • Matching A levels and GCSEs in subjects such as Maths, English, Physics, Biology, Geography, History, Computer Science, and Philosophy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to student success and school improvement.
